Abstract

The fabrication technology of sintered composite materials from titanium powders with addition of carbon fibers, their permeable, physical and mechanical properties are presented. The optimal compositions of «metal powder – carbon fiber» have been determined. The processes of pressing and sintering of the composite system have been investigated, optimal regimes have been determined. The introduction of carbon fiber into the mixture allows increasing the strength of the porous composite material, but leads to a decrease in pore size and permeability co-efficiency.
