Abstract
To validate the feasibility of ZY-3-02 laser altimetry data in enhancing the vertical accuracy of domestic satellite stereo-imagery, this paper presents a composite geolocating method which adopts a block adjustment model based on RFM (rational function model) with HCPs(horizontal control points) and ECPs(elevation control points) separately. The ZY-3-02 laser altimetry data and two scenes optical stereo-imageries are deployed for validation. The results show that the absolute vertical accuracy of optical stereo-imagery with the ZY-3-02 laser data instead of the field-surveyed GCPs (ground control points) can be improved to about 3 meter.
