Abstract

In this paper, a composite strategy based on fractional order sliding mode control and disturbance observer are employed in a PMSM vector control system to suppress the chattering and improve the system robustness performance. First, the sliding surface is designed with reference to fractional order theory. Then, the super-twisting algorithm and hyperbolic tangent function are introduced to the new sliding mode reaching law. Besides, system stability is proved by Lyapunov theory and fractional order system stability theory. Finally, using disturbance observers to estimate and compensate for system uncertainties. Comparing with traditional SMC method, simulation results show that the composite control strategy can suppress of sliding mode chattering as well as improve the speed control performance.
