Abstract

Hybrid repair can be an alternative to conventional open repair of aortic arch aneurysms especially in high risk cases. A 77 year male patient presented to us with complaints of breathlessness and chest pain. Investigations revealed aortic arch aneurysm with healthy ascending and descending aorta. Hybrid repair including supra aortic debranching and relocation of the arch vessels to the ascending aorta was performed. Complications like poststent-implant syndrome, cerebrovascular accident and localized dissection of ascending aorta at the site of stenting occurred.
