Abstract

Typically, infective endocarditis (IE) is a condition that requires a long duration of intravenous antibiotics for 6 weeks based on current guidelines. We present a case of partial oral antibiotic treatment in an IE patient complicated with intracranial hemorrhage secondary to the mycotic aneurysm.
