Abstract

Society is changing too quickly, both in terms of a shift in the mentality of citizens or employees, and the increasingly frequent appearance of new technologies and new organizations with generally contracting time scales. The new complexity of the work environment modifies occupational safety and health (OSH) research, a paradigm which has to be revisited. Time pressure, complexity and a loss of scientific information have to be taken into account in order to maintain the confidence of the world of work with regard to the possible improvement of the quality of life at work supported by scientific knowledge.
