Abstract
Abstract ML2Cl.2H2O type complexes of lanthanide(III) ions with a Schiff base derived from salicylaldehyde and S-benzoyl p-amino benzene sulphonamide dithiocarbamate were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, NMR, and UV-Visible spectroscopy, molar conductance and magnetic moment measurements. Stability constants of the complexes in solution were determined potentiometrically.
