Abstract
Complex partial status epilepticus (CPSE) is rare and can be difficult to recognize. It is less common than petit mal (absence) status, and the EEG findings are less striking. The clinical findings include prolonged confusion, aphasia, automatic behavior, and amnesia without convulsive activity. A case of CPSE in a patient with a rare form of leptomeningeal cancer has been reported. In this paper we report a 2nd case in a patient with meningeal carcinomatosis
