Abstract

This paper reports on a comprehensive study of the structure, electrical resistivity, and heat capacity of V2 ± δO3 compounds within the region of homogeneity. Some parameters of the metal-insulator phase transition are determined. The dependences of the phase transition temperature on the ratio of lattice parameters “c/a” and the dependences of the jump of electrical resistivity and hysteresis as a function of the change in entropy of the sample at the phase transition are established.
