Complex Group Decision Making under Risk and Uncertainty

Abstract

AbstractWe develop a new method for group decision making under risk and uncertain environments. We introduce the uncertain induced generalized probabilistic ordered weighted averaging weighted average (UIGPOWAWA) operator. It is an aggregation operator that unifies the probabilistic aggregation, the weighted average and the ordered weighted average in the same formulation and considering the degree of importance that each concept has in the analysis. It also deals with uncertain environments where the information is imprecise and can be assessed with interval numbers. Moreover, it deals with complex attitudinal characters represented with order inducing variables and generalizes the aggregation with generalized means.
