Abstract
This video shows an open superior mesenteric vein to inferior cava vein shunt (Drapanas procedure) to treat severe recalcitrant gastrointestinal bleeding. This patient had previously has extensive inferior vena cava and superior mesenteric vein thrombosis that progressed to a massive complex portal vascular malformation.
