Abstract

Main investigation results оf complex dynamics оf delayed feedback klystron oscillators are presented. Mathematical models оf oscillators based оn double-cavity and multi-cavity klystrons are discussed. Self-excitation conditions, modes of stationary single-frequency oscillation, self-modulation conditions have been analyzed theoretically. Also the experimental device is described for the dynamics investigation of multi-cavity klystron oscillator and the results оf experimental study оf different oscillation modes (single-frequency, multi-frequency and chaotic) are presented. The work shows that experimental data are in а good qualitative agreement with theoretical results.
