Abstract

To explore the complex deformation behavior of advanced high-strength automotive steel, the biaxial tensile test was carried out by using the thinned cruciform specimen. The stress in the central deformation area of the thinned specimen was analyzed by the simulation to verify the effectiveness of the specimen. The biaxial tensile test of metal sheets and the calculation method of yield trajectory were studied. The yield trajectories of DP980 and QP980 under different loading paths were obtained by using the strain-rate ratio control. The research results provide important technical support for improving the forming simulation accuracy of advanced high-strength steel DP980 and QP980.
