Abstract

The article presents some aspects of the health status of veterans of the Samara region. A correlation is marked between the level of social adaptation, the quality of life of combatants, and the aging rate. The study shows the effect of chronic posttraumatic stress disorder on the origin of psychosomatic pathology and the development of accelerated aging in war veterans suffering from arterial hypertension.
