Abstract

One of our major EMC contributors in the past half century has passed away at the age of 90. Don White was indeed a significant contributor to our discipline including being a past President of the IEEE EMC Society in the early 1960’s. That was the time I graduated from college and launched my EMC career. Don has touched virtually all of us for decades as we entered EMC work and continued practicing EMC. This appreciation is shown by the many who sent tributes of their memorable interactions with Don. A sampling of these tributes is captured below. In summary, his name will remain with all of us for a very long time.
