Abstract

We perform the global stability analysis for a viral infection model with two types of immune response. The model is formulated as a system of delay differential equations. We determine the global dynamics in terms of the basic reproduction number using Lyapunov functionals. Our results on the global stability of the infected equilibrium give an affirmative answer to the conjecture offered in the paper [K. Wang, W. Wang and X. Liu, Comput. Math. Appl. 51 (2006), 1593-1610].
