ABSTRACTListeria monocytogenes, a Gram-positive, rod-shaped, non-spore-forming bacterium, is an important foodborne bacterial pathogen for humans worldwide. Here, we report the complete genome sequence of a Canadian Listeria monocytogenes strain with an antimicrobial resistance (AMR) gene that was isolated from lettuce.
