Abstract

AbstractUsing two‐dimensional heteronuclear 1H‐13C chemical shift correlation spectroscopy via one‐bond and long‐range couplings, all 13C resonances of bilirubin‐IXα and its dimethyl ester in dimethyl sulphoxide solution are assigned, independently from reference to partial structures. Previous ambiguities in the methyl regions of the 1H NMR spectra of these compounds are also resolved.
