Abstract

The Office of the Federal Register introduced on January 20, 2009, the Daily Compilation of Presidential Documents, a new serial that replaces its weekly counterpart and provides immediate coverage of presidential activities. This article examines its provenance, its predecessor, and the compilations in print and electronic editions. A portion of the article deals with presidential inaugural addresses, past and present.
