Abstract

In order to comprehensively evaluate the development of electricity retailers in different electricity sale market, an evaluation method of the competitiveness of electricity retailers in the principle of analytic hierarchy process and group decision-making method is proposed, which is suitable for several experts participating. This paper analyzes the key factors influencing the competitiveness of electricity retailers, and then constructing the hierarchical structure and establishing the evaluation index system. This method also optimizes the assessment data by removing the extreme data of the experts. In order to distinguish the difference of experts, we assign weights to each expert according to his work experience and the quality of his judgment matrixes. The weights of experts is determined by both subjective weight and objective weight, and the evaluation data of the experts are synthesized by the weighted geometric method. Finally, experts mark electricity retailers and after weighted summation, the electricity retailers' competitiveness scores can be obtained. Taking the evaluation of the competitiveness of 5 kinds of typical electricity retailers in the industrial electricity sale market in China as an example, which demonstrated the method is feasibility and practicability. The method can not only weaken the subjectivity compared to the result that evaluated by only one expert, but also provide reference for electricity retailers to find their positioning and enhance their competitiveness.
