Abstract
This paper is a study of competitive business intelligence activities based on a survey of 97 companies in Singapore. In particular, it focused on three areas: perceptions of competitive intelligence, competitive intelligence practices, and competitive intelligence and company performance. The results showed that there were not many differences among companies in the practice of corporate intelligence when compared along various criteria used. However, competitive intelligence was found to have an impact on corporate performance.
