Abstract

The aim of the work is to study the competition-festival movement of accordion and accordion art in the modern socio-cultural space and its impact on the development of musical creativity and performing skills. The methodology consists in the application of the general scientific principle of objectivity, historical-logical, analytical methods in the study of the nature of competitions and festivals related to the creative search of accordionists and accordionists in the context of music and art development. The scientific novelty of the work is to reveal the general trends in the development of accordion and accordion art under the influence of modern musical style, which in turn led to changes in the repertoire for accordion and accordion, which contributed to the formation of new updated trends in performance, thus increasing the level of expression, performing skills of the instrument in general as a holistic artistic and aesthetic phenomenon of musical culture. Conclusions. As a result of the study, it was concluded that holding competitions and festivals for performers of accordion and accordion art serves as an impetus for the discovery of talented performers, providing new means of musical expression for performing forms. The coexistence of traditional (classical) and modernist tendencies under the influence of the general world development of musical art contributes to the emergence of new stylistic trends in music, which are beginning to influence the development of accordion art and music of the twentieth century.
