Abstract

From the cluster-model viewpoint, a problem of why the {alpha}-cluster structure persists in the {sup 44}Ti nucleus in spite of the strong spin-orbit force is resolved together with the departure from the rotational structure of the ground-band spectrum, in comparison with the {sup 8}Be and {sup 20}Ne nuclei.
