Abstract

This paper explores and illustrates an analytical framework to assess the influence of competency attributes in supply value chain effectiveness. Effectiveness in supply value chain is evaluated within a framework based on four levels; the supply value chain targets, knowledge management dynamics, competence levels and competency success attributes. The analytical network process is used to determine the most beneficial competence success attributes in a case study performed for three companies located in different stages of textile supply chain. Relying on the first evidence of the application, recommendations will be made for further studies.
