Abstract
A new model using an electric compass with two magnetic sensors were proposed for localization to find the heading of a vehicle in underwater or terrestrial basis. Due to the sensitivity of magnetic sensor to external interference, electronic compass is not fully accurate for localization. For this limitation and to overcome this shortcoming in our research we present a new model an electric compass with two magnetic sensors are implemented. Our model greatly reduce the error after the compensation. The reliability and performance of the verified system are verified through real experiment.
