Abstract

AbstractThe article describes a promising method for measuring the critical parameters of a sine signal in a wide range of changes in its amplitude, including in the presence of noise. It is based on the modification of the bisection method developed by the authors, called the method of midpoints. Its advantages are manifested in cases when it is necessary to measure the parameters of a sine signal with both large and small amplitudes with high accuracy. As an example, the structure of a device for measuring the frequency response, as well as the complex gain in the most common analog devices like operational amplifiers with feedback, active and passive RC and RLC filters, is considered. It is shown that when studying the filters a high sensitivity of the proposed method is provided both in the pass band and in the suppression band.An algorithm for implementing the proposed measuring method using modern digital signal processing devices is discussed. #CSOC1120.KeywordsCompensation methodSine signalAmplitude and phase measurement
