Abstract

There has been fear in losing control of Sweden's most important company Ericsson to foreign hands. As the leadership of Ericsson says one thing at a time, the voting rights issue will be solved when it is the right time. Now the right time has come according to the Working Group (Arbetsgruppen) of Ericsson that has been dealing with the problem for 2 years. A surprisingly smooth suggestion was put out on the 19th Feb. of 2004. Sweden's last extreme voting regime (1 to 1/1000 with respect to A and B share) is soon to be a history book example.
