Abstract

There is emerging evidence to support mild therapeutic hypothermia (MTH) and early revascularization post witnessed VT/VF arrest improve neurologic outcomes and mortality. However it is not clear which cohort of patients post cardiac arrest are or should be taken to cardiac catheterization. We report the first comparative Canadian outcome data for patients resuscitated from cardiac arrest who underwent MTH with and without cardiac catheterization.
