Abstract

Objective To compare the therapeutic effects of tacrolimus and cyclophosphamide in the treatment of patients with lupus nephritis. Methods Eighty-two patients with lupus nephritis admitted to Linyi Central Hospital from May 2016 to December 2017 were selected, and all patients were divided into two groups by random number table method, with 41 cases in each group. Patients in control group were treated with cyclophosphamide, and patients in observation group were treated with tacrolimus. The renal function and inflammatory immune response of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the levels of renal function and inflammatory response indicators in both groups were decreased, and levels of these of these indicators were lower in observation group than those in control group, with significant difference (P<0.05). After treatment, C3 and C4 levels increased in the two groups, while IgA, IgG and IgM levels decreased in the two groups(P<0.05). The changes in observation group were larger than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions Compared with cyclophosphamide, tacrolimus can better promote the improvement of renal function and immune function in the treatment of lupus nephritis, and effectively reduce the inflammatory response of the body, which has a great clinical effect. Key words: Lupus nephritis; Tacrolimus; Cyclophosphamide; Renal function; Inflammatory immune response
