When applied in May, June, July, or August, a single dermal spray of Bayer 21/199 (Co-ral) was significantly more effective than an oral drench of Dow ET-57 (Trolene) in reducing the numbers of (common cattle grubs, Hypoderma lineatum (DeVill.), that later appeared in the backs of Everglades cattle. Dow ET-57 was significantly more effective than Bayer 21/199 when each was applied in September.
