Abstract

This paper is focused on the soundscape as a cause of the participant's mood state. Part of the participants used the Audio Augmented Reality (AAR) soundscape with audio guide, and the other part had a paper from which they read information about the history of locality in which the research took place. The mood was expressed in two dimensions: valence and arousal. This paper deals with the differences between the objective method of data gathering - based on using affective computing devices, and subjective method of data gathering - based on using questionnaires. Conclusions of the paper showed two methods had good correlation when results were treated as a group, and no significant similarity when results were considered individually.
