Methods 35 cases of patients with varicocele sterility in our hospital from February 2012 to February 2014 were selected, who were divided into control group (17 cases) and observation group (18 cases), and were given laparoscopic spermatic vein ligation and microscopic varicocele ligation. Before and after the treatment, semen quality and postoperative complications of the two groups were observed and compared. Results Before the treatment, semen quality indexes of two groups had no significant difference (P>0.05). Semen quality indexes of two groups after treatment than before treatment had significantly improved (P<0.05), after 6 months treatment, the indexes of the two groups were statistically significant (P<0.05). Patients were followed up for 1~6 months, the two groups had no complications.
