Abstract

Results of a long-time analysis of the relative motion of the first Czechoslovak-made satellite Magion and its mother satellite Interkosmos 18 are presented. The changes of the mean daily motion are used to compare the computed density values with those derived from the new models of the Earth atmosphere, based on spherical harmonics representation. An attempt is made to improve the preliminary estimate of the physical parameters of both bodies.
