Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of different antiviral regimens on chronic hepatitis B (CHB). Methods One hundred and fifty patients with chronic hepatitis B were randomized into three groups. Entecavir was given to patients in the entecavir group, lamivudine was given in the lamivudine group, entecavir and lamivudine was given in the combination group.The clinical parameters and complications were compared among the three groups before and after treatment. Results The levels of ALT, TBil, HBV-DNA and complication incidences in the combination group were significantly lower than those in the entecavir group and lamivudine group; The PTA levels, liver function recovery rates, negative rates of HBV-NDA and HBeAg group were significantly higher than those of entecavir group and lamivudine group (P<0.01). Conclusions The efficacy of entecavir combined with lamivudine on chronic hepatitis B is significant and can be used for reference. Key words: Chronic hepatitis B; Entecavir; Lamivudine
