Abstract
Objective compare the screen effect of the Acinetobacter baumannii efflux pump by carbonyl cyanide m-chlorophenylhydrazone (CCCP),reserpine and omeprasole,in order to choose the suitable active efflux inhibitiors. Methods Test the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of the cipmfloxacin on 76 strains of Acinetobacter baumanniis by agar dilution method.Meanwhile, the influence of active efflux inhibifiors CCCP,reserpine and omeprazole on MIC Were measured as well. The strains whose MIC decreased four times are positive efflux pumps. Results CCCP,reserpine and omeprazole have effect on the strains' efflux of ciprofloxacin in different degree and all decreased the MIC of ciporfloxacin on the Acinetobacter baumannii, with the MIC50 and MIC90 being 16μg/ml、64μg/ml,32μg/ml、168μg/ml,321μg/ml、168μg/ml.,The rate of positive efflux pumps are respectively 26.3%、10.5%、9.2%.Conclusions CCCP,reserpine and omeprazole can decrease the strains' efflux of ciporfloxacin in different degree, but CCCP is more suitable to act as an active eflux pump inhibitor to screen the Acinetobacter baumannii. Key words: Acinetobacter baumannii; The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC); Active efflux
