Abstract

Objective To study the clinical effect of intrapleural injection of different drugs on patients with pleural effusion of lung cancer. Methods A total of 58 cases of pleural effusion of lung cancer in our hospital from March 2015 to March 2017 were studied in this research, and were divided into group A and group B according to the random double-blind method, 29 cases in each group. Group A was treated with intrapleural injection of saline + bevacizumab, while group B was treated with intrapleural injection of saline + cis-platinum. Compared the therapeutic effect of the two groups. Results The total efficiency of group A was higher than that of group B (68.97% vs.41.38%,P<0.05). The levels of CEA and VEGF in both two groups significantly decreased after the treatment (P<0.05), the levels of CEA and VEGF in group A decreased more significantly (P<0.05). In addition to the nausea and vomiting, rash, other adverse reactions did not increase in group A. Conclusion Intrapleural injection of bevacizumab can get significant curative effect in the treatment of patients with pleural effusion of lung cancer, improve the treatment efficiency, without obvious side effects, can effectively reduce the CEA, VEGF expression in the pleural effusion, has significant application value. Key words: Lung cancer; Pleural effusion; Bevacizumab; Cis-platinum; Intrapleural injection
