Abstract
The low-lying levels or 18O and 18F were calculated using both harmonic-oscillator and Woods-Saxon wave functions. The effective interaction consisted of the bare G-matrix ( G B) for the Tabakin potential supplemented by the core-polarization correction ( G 3plh).
