DESF is being developed for the treatment of anaphylaxis as an alternative to injectable epinephrine. This study compared the pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) profiles of epinephrine following single-dose administration of (12 mg) DESF vs. 0.3mg IM injection and EpiPen® 0.3mg.
