Abstract

The electromagnetic field distribution and frequency spectrum properties in a cavity cylindrical microwave resonator has been studied. We presented the cavity microwave resonator with metal rods inside cavity as a composite resonant microwave structure with inhomogeneities (microwave billiard). The dependences between the locations of rods, electromagnetic field distribution and resonant frequencies shifts have been obtained. Such a structure can be used as a structure with manageable resonant frequencies and controlled electromagnetic field distribution location.
