Abstract
HCl users could have lower installation costs by using FRP piping with adhesively bonded pipe joints, but have concerns that the adhesive may be more readily attacked in hot HCl service. An experiment was undertaken to provide comparative data on the performance of adhesive joints with butt & wrap joints in HCI.
