Abstract

The integrity of sperm DNA is important for fertilization and development of healthy offspring and is cited as one of the leading causes of male infertility. Among them, increased sperm DNA fragmentation is one of the causes of infertility that affects changes in sperm integrity. Toxins from smoking are known to potentially affect sperm development and function and negatively affect semen parameters. Recently, the use of e-cigarettes is increasing. This new phenomenon is due to the fact that e-cigarettes are considered a safer alternative to regular cigarettes.
