Abstract

Currently, both single-plane and biplane area-length methods by two-dimensional echocardiography were commonly used for calculating RV volume in clinical practice, however, little is known regarding the correlation between the two modalities. We try to assess the accuracy of ventricular volume measurement of single-plane and biplane area-length methods by both in-vitro and in-vivo studies.
