Abstract
In non-oocyte retrieved patients with patent fallopian tubes, a gonadotropin-stimulated (superovulated) intrauterine insemination (SOIUI) has been the most successful method for achieving pregnancy. Complications of SOIUI include a high incidence of twin gestation and a risk of higher order multifetal pregnancy. The objective of this study was to compare letrozole/gonadotropin sequential stimulation to ovulation with gonadotropins alone for patients unsuccessfully treated by oral ovulation induction or insemination alone.
