Abstract
Hereditary angioedema (HAE) is a rare, chronic, genetic disease associated with recurrent, unpredictable episodes of localized swelling of cutaneous and submucosal tissue and can be life-threatening. Although HAE requires lifelong treatment, disease course, management, and outcomes are rarely reported in older populations.
