Abstract

The paper presents a model of sulphur deposition in Poland. It deals with the long-term average dispersion of sulphur dioxide over long distances. Discussion about problems which appeared during the development and implementation of Fisher's transport model for Poland is the purpose of this paper. The results of Fisher's model have been compared with the results from RAINS model Version 6.0. The differences of average deposition between the models are small that's why it seems that Fisher's model is a convenient tool for calculating sulphur deposition from domestic sources.
