Abstract

Radiation-induced fatigue is a common side effect of breast cancer radiotherapy. Treatment regimens such as partial breast irradiation and hypofractionation presume to cause less fatigue in treatment compared to standard fractionation schedules. The purpose of this study is to compare the induction and persistence of radiation-induced fatigue in 3 different fractionation schedules in breast cancer radiotherapy.
