Abstract

SummaryElectrophoretic studies using Zn65 indicate the presence of several zinc components in secretions of lobes of rat prostate. The distribution of zinc complexes and the types of protein migratory patterns noted emphasize the marked biochemical variabilities found in the individual lobes, i.e., ventral, dorsal and lateral, of rat prostate. These patterns, in turn, differ from those observed in rat blood serum.
