Abstract
The authors present the pharmacological methods for dealing with patient pain by paramedics, in the light of the current Minister of Health of 20 April 2016, on the medical emergency treatment and health services other than medical rescue activities, which may be provided by a paramedic. In the regulation was contained a list of drugs that can be administered independently by a paramedic. Among the 47 drugs contained, 7 drugs are dedicated to the treatment of pain. New pharmaceuticals were introduced to improve safety and professionalism of performed medical rescue operations and other health services by paramedics. The authors also make a brief comparative analysis of analgesics before the introduction of old versus the existing regulation.
