Abstract
in the article carried out comparative analysis of three methods of measuring time frequency measurement - measurement method frequency by counting the frequency of the standard periods for integer periods of the measured frequency; measurement method frequency by counting the frequency of the measured periods for integer periods of the standard frequency; measurement frequency by method coincidence. Got an expression for calculating the optimum values of pulse duration the use of which allows to reach minimum time of measure the frequency by coincidence method; expression to evaluate time of measure the frequency by coincidence method by using the optimal values of the duty ratio; expression to determine the frequency range in which the measurement of frequency by coincidence method is faster than the measurement of frequency by count methods. It was found that the measurement of the frequency with a given level of relative maximum methodical sampling errors by coincidence method using the optimum pulse width value provides the time is less than the measurement method of counting frequency over a wide frequency range.
