Abstract

Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of mammography and ultrasonography in mucinous breast carcinoma. Methods 80 cases of breast cancer admitted in our hospital from October 2013 to July 2016 were randomly divided into two groups. The observation group was examined by mammography, while the control group was examined by ultrasonography. Then the morphological and boundary conditions and the positive rate in the two groups were compared. Results The proportion of clear morphological imaging of the observation group was 92.5%, which was significantly higher than 57.5% of the control group (χ2=11.267, P<0.05); the ratio of clear tumor border imaging of the observation group was 95.0%, which was significantly higher than 65.0% of the control group (χ2=9.453, P<0.05). The positive rate of the observation group was 92.5%, which was significantly higher than 65.0% of the control group (χ2=7.470, P<0.05). Conclusion X-ray examination may suggest mucinous breast carcinoma; we should pay attention to biopsy for better and clear diagnosis, and timely treatment. Key words: X-ray photography; Ultrasound; Mucinous breast carcinoma
